Controversial pollster Frank Luntz says that he believes Tucker Carlson is running for president, after taking a beating from the Fox News host this week.
Luntz is essentially a liberal, but maintains close ties to the GOP establishment, even renting a room to GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy.
Carlson revealed the roommate situation on his show on Monday. McCarthy confirmed the situation on Tuesday.
“So now you know why the Republican party listens to Frank Luntz and not you,” Carlson said on his show.

Luntz attempted to write off his feud with Carlson and claimed that he believes the massively popular host is gearing up to run for president.
“I think Tucker is running for president,” Luntz told the New York Times podcast “Sway” on Thursday.
“Tucker realizes that he can make any accusation he wants to make, and that cadre, because he’s very popular among a certain segment of conservatism. I think Tucker is running for president. And I think that’s what he’s going to do. And I think he’s going to try to demonize and destroy anyone who might stand up against him. And that’s all that this is,” Luntz claimed.
