Joe Biden on Thursday mumbled through 10 minutes of remarks on Hurricane Ida.
Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 4 storm with 150+ mph winds earlier this week.
Biden said he’s going to visit the Gulf Coast on Friday.
And of course he had to bring up “equity” when he reassured residents in Louisiana the government would help with response and recovery efforts.
“My message to the people of the Gulf Coast, who I’m going to visit tomorrow, we are here for you. And we’re making sure the response and recovery is equitable,” said Biden.
After reading a teleprompter for 10 minutes, Joe Biden turned his back on reporters and shuffled away (notice Biden’s gait).
Biden has yet to answer questions after the US’s departure from Afghanistan.
