Psalm 14:5 – … For God is with those who obey him.  6 The wicked frustrate the plans of the oppressed, but the Lord will protect his people.

I the Lord am faithful to keep all of my promises to you.  All of my promises are “yes and amen” to those who believe.  To those who will obey my commandments.  Believe and love.  All of my commandments can be narrowed down to these two.  Everything I require of you is also my promise to you.  Everything I demand of you, I will ensure that you first receive (it).

I am with you.  Obey me and you can be sure that I will never leave you nor forsake you.  What is it that I require you to obey?  Believe!  Believing that I am with you is the way to experience the joy of my presence.  Stop looking for me out there somewhere, for I have made my home in you.  You are my dwelling place.

Do not let the plans that wicked frustrate you.  They cannot defeat you if you will only obey and believe.  Your faith keeps you in the center of my protection for you.  For while I am in you, you are also in me.  Therefore, any attack of the enemy on you has to first go through me.  And what can defeat or overcome me?  Is there anything or anyone says the Lord?  No!  There is no one!  There is nothing!  I the Lord am a mighty warrior, and I know not defeat.

Hide yourself in me and in my great love for you.  For my love never fails.  Test me and see if this is not true.  Believe my great love for you and experience the great freedom that my love has purchased for you.  I will keep you, for you are mine.  I will not allow one of these that I have received to be lost on my watch.

For one growing up in church, they could get the idea that sanctification is a process. That one becomes holier the closer he adheres to God's law and commandments now that they have received the free gift of salvation. However, righteousness is completely free! It is available to us through the finished work of Christ. It is all His doing. All His work! None of our own, lest we should boast. This is good news!
