Proverbs 2:6-9 – For the Lord grants wisdom! His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding. He grants good sense to the godly – His saints. He is their shield, protecting them and guarding their pathway. He shows them how to distinguish right from wrong, how to make the right decision every time.

This is my promise to you. To all who believe my promises are yes and amen. I will not only give you the wisdom you need, but I AM your wisdom. I have called you to believe me for more specific instruction. To stop complaining that you’re not getting it, and start proclaiming your expectation that you’re going to receive it. Here is the promise in my word. I’ll give you wisdom and direction in how to make the right choice every time. Wouldn’t that be awesome? No more wondering. No more guessing. Faith is more than hoping you’re going the right way. Faith is believing you’re going the right way because you’ve believed my promise to lead and guide you. You believe that I am speaking to you and telling you the way in which you should go.

Grow up in your faith. Believe for more. I will grant you wisdom. When I grant you something, I want you to take me for granted. It breaks my heart when I make gifts/treasures available to my children and they go unused and unopened. It breaks my heart even more when my children don’t believe I have given them anything and they continue to ask me for something they already have. Every promise is yes and amen in Christ Jesus. Therefore what you expect has already been granted, and you will receive it. The provision has already been made. The door is open. Jesus is the door. He is in heaven, and the door has never been shut. Therefore, come boldly before the throne of grace and let your requests me made known with full confidence and assurance that you shall receive whatever you ask for. Do not persist in your circumstances, persist in the promise. Believe me. Believe My word. Take me for granted.

For one growing up in church, they could get the idea that sanctification is a process. That one becomes holier the closer he adheres to God's law and commandments now that they have received the free gift of salvation. However, righteousness is completely free! It is available to us through the finished work of Christ. It is all His doing. All His work! None of our own, lest we should boast. This is good news!
