Psalm 9:3 – My enemies retreated, they staggered died when you appeared. For you have judged in my favor; from your throne you have judged with fairness… 9 The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. 10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you oh Lord do not abandon those who search for you. 12 For he… Cares for the helpless. He does not ignore the cries of those who suffer.

Who can stand in my presence? Who would dare oppose Me? For I am the Lord. There is no one higher. No one greater. Seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all of your heart. I will never abandon you or cast you out. I am full of mercy. Slow to anger, and rich in love. You can trust Me. Test Me and see if I am not worthy of your trust.

No one else has ever taken interest in you like I have. I have sought you out. I’ve orchestrated your days and your steps from the very beginning so that you would find Me. So that you could not miss my goodness directed toward you. Come to Me. Let Me be your shelter. Let Me break the oppression and depression you feel. Come into my presence. My court will and has already ruled in your favor. Watch your enemies retreat as you encounter Me in my glory.

Watch Me take every burden from your shoulders. Come experience the liberty and freedom of being my very own. Bring Me your cares and concerns. I will not ignore your cry. I will not leave you in any trouble, for I am good. Let my presence fill you. Enter into my kingdom for it is your possession. I freely give it to you. Not for your relief, but for your victory!

For one growing up in church, they could get the idea that sanctification is a process. That one becomes holier the closer he adheres to God's law and commandments now that they have received the free gift of salvation. However, righteousness is completely free! It is available to us through the finished work of Christ. It is all His doing. All His work! None of our own, lest we should boast. This is good news!
