Isaiah 61:7 – Instead of shame you shall have double honor, and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.  Therefore, in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

I the Lord define justice.  I am not against you.  I am for you.  I am not holding your past against you, nor am I dealing with your past today.  No, I am doing a new thing.  This trial is about your future – not about your past.  I am preparing you for a new thing.  Did I not say that every circumstance in your life is designed to bless you?  To give you an upgrade?  Did I not say that I want you to hear my voice more specifically through this trial?  For you to stand still and see my salvation?  To let me fight this battle for you?  What was my word to you during your previous trials?  Was it not to “stop defending yourself?”

When the enemy comes in like a flood, I the Lord have promised to raise a standard against him.  I have promised to give you double honor – double possessions.  You will no longer live in confusion about my will, my plans, or my purposes.  Everything is about to be made clear.  Stand still and see.  Let me fight this battle for you.  I will bring you everlasting joy.

Did I not say that I would give you the kingdom – righteousness, peace, and joy?  Is that not the order and progression we have gone through?  How often now do you doubt or question your righteousness?  The enemy may accuse you, but the matter is settled.  You are righteous.  I have declared you to be so.  I have imputed righteousness to you.

What about peace?  Have you not walked in a tremendous amount of peace during the last few weeks?  Yes, there were moments of anxiety or fear, but for the most part you have done well my son.  You have allowed my peace to keep you.  You have laid down and slept in perfect peace.  The revelation is taking over.

And now we come to joy.  Everlasting joy shall be your portion.  This is the last piece of the puzzle to my kingdom – righteousness, peace, and joy.  These are the foundation of my kingdom.  Each one is received by faith.  This last revelation will not delay.  In deed you have experienced a taste of it already, but I am about to break forth like the morning son, and my glory will rise on you.  You will go out with joy and be led forth with peace.  The mountains and hills will rejoice before you.  For all of creation has been awaiting your arrival as my son.

Now, Arise and Shine!  For your light has come.  The glory of the Lord is rising on you.  I do not say it is risen, but that it is rising!  Because like the morning sun, the heat and the light intensify as it rises higher in the sky.  This is the day of your dawning.  And although my glory has risen on you – it will continue to rise.  This is not the end!   No!  This is the beginning.  The night has gone, and your light has come.

For one growing up in church, they could get the idea that sanctification is a process. That one becomes holier the closer he adheres to God's law and commandments now that they have received the free gift of salvation. However, righteousness is completely free! It is available to us through the finished work of Christ. It is all His doing. All His work! None of our own, lest we should boast. This is good news!
