Psalm 3:7 – Arise, oh Lord! Rescue me, my God! Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked! 8 Victory comes from you, oh Lord. May you bless your people.
I will arise. My enemies will be scattered. I am for you. Who can be against you? Anyone against you is also against me. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Every lying tongue will be stopped. Look to me. I am your victory. Not a future victory, but a very present help in time of trouble! Look to me and be not afraid. Let me fight this battle for you.
Allow my spirit to lead you, and you will enter the promised land. I will not abandon you in the battle. I will protect you. Do not fear what man may do to you. You are in my hands. You are not forsaken into the hands of your enemy. For your enemy is mine. I am for you. Why would you be dismayed?
Come to me and find your rest. Sit at my table and feast on my goodness and kindness. Yes, come and rest at my table even in the face of your enemies. The enemy of doubt and confusion. The enemy who brings fear and anxiety. The enemy who reminds you of your past failures and shortcomings. Do not fear them, for I have shattered their teeth. They are all bark and no bite.
Enter into my victory. My victory is offered freely to you, and all who are afar off who will enter in by faith. Look to the cross. Look to the empty tomb. Look to the heavens where you are seated with my son Jesus. Listen as he intercedes for you. Ask what you will that I may answer you. For I delight in you says the Lord your father and God.
