Psalm 5:11 – But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. 12 For you bless the godly, oh Lord; you surround them with your shield of love.

I love you. I have always loved you. I will never stop loving you. Nothing you could ever do could make me love you less. And nothing you do could ever make me love you more. My love for you is unconditional. You simply are loved. No conditions are required for my great love for you. My love for you is everlasting. It will never end. Come to me and hide yourself in my love. Let my love cover you like the wings of the mother hen covers her chicks. Let my love cast out all of your fear, for my love for you is perfect. I love you perfectly, just as you are.

As you receive my love for you, let it transform you. Let it consume all your fears and insecurities. You cannot love without being loved. Love me with the love I fill you with. Allow my love to consume you. Let my love fill you with joy. Not fear. I am for you. My love is a shield around you. You must believe my love for you. You cannot receive or experience my love unless you first believe that you are loved. Lift up your head! Be encouraged, and let gratefulness and thankfulness fill your being. For nothing else matters except this: I love you my son. Give thanks and praise for there is nothing left to fear.

For one growing up in church, they could get the idea that sanctification is a process. That one becomes holier the closer he adheres to God's law and commandments now that they have received the free gift of salvation. However, righteousness is completely free! It is available to us through the finished work of Christ. It is all His doing. All His work! None of our own, lest we should boast. This is good news!
